Add butter, cream, cheese, and a pinch each of black pepper and nutmeg to a saucier or medium sauté pan. Whisk constantly over medium-low heat until smooth and well-combined, about 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning to taste (I didn’t need any salt!). Transfer cooked gnocchi to the sauce and toss gently to coat. Serve immediately, topped with another grating of fresh nutmeg, and enjoy!
